Povezan je bil z verskimi obredi, dru\u017eino in posebnimi jedmi, ki niso sodile v vsakdan. Med njimi ima osrednje mesto potica \u2013 prazni\u010dno pecivo, ki je skozi stoletja postalo eden najprepoznavnej\u0161ih simbolov slovenske kulture.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7fed98e elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"7fed98e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Kratek zgodovinski pregled potice<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-45e76e1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"45e76e1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">Potica se je oblikovala v okviru srednjeevropske prazni\u010dne kulinari\u010dne tradicije in sodi med najstarej\u0161e dokumentirane prazni\u010dne jedi na Slovenskem. Njeni predhodniki so bili zvitki iz testa, nadevani z medom, orehi ali drugimi razpolo\u017eljivimi sestavinami, ki so bili namenjeni izklju\u010dno posebnim prilo\u017enostim.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e5fe4c7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e5fe4c7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">Najstarej\u0161i pisni viri ka\u017eejo, da je bila potica sprva povezana predvsem s premo\u017enej\u0161imi sloji, saj je zahtevala belo moko, ve\u010d ma\u0161\u010dobe in bogate nadeve. Pomemben preobrat je prinesel zgodnji novi vek, ko se je raz\u0161irila raba kva\u0161enega testa. Izraz <em data-start=\"1847\" data-end=\"1857\">povitica<\/em> se pojavlja \u017ee v protestantskih besedilih 16. stoletja, najstarej\u0161i natan\u010dnej\u0161i opis potice pa je zapisal Janez Vajkard Valvasor v Slavi vojvodine Kranjske (1689).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-67bbe26 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"67bbe26\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">V 17. in 18. stoletju se je potica postopno raz\u0161irila tudi na pode\u017eelje, vendar je ostala strogo prazni\u010dna jed. Prav zaradi redkosti in zahtevne priprave je ohranila poseben simbolni pomen, ki ga nosi \u0161e danes.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0f62669 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"0f62669\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h5 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Potica in bo\u017ei\u010d: skupaj s poprtnikom<\/h5>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2f12ba5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2f12ba5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">Bo\u017ei\u010dna miza na Slovenskem ni bila popolna brez prazni\u010dnega kruha. Med najstarej\u0161e bo\u017ei\u010dne simbole sodi obredni kruh, znan pod imeni poprtnik, poprtnjak, podprtnik, bo\u017ei\u010dnik ali bo\u017ei\u010d. Ta kruh je imel predvsem simbolno vlogo in je pogosto ostal na mizi ve\u010d dni.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f100b86 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f100b86\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">Zelo pogosto se je za bo\u017ei\u010d pekla tudi potica. Njena bogata struktura in sladek nadev sta simbolizirala obilje, veselje in toplino doma. Potica ni bila vsakdanja sladica, temve\u010d znak praznika in posebnega \u010dasa v letu.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f9cd355 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"f9cd355\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h5 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Kdaj se je potica pekla?<\/h5>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c8f9c3e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c8f9c3e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">Potica je veljala za izrazito prazni\u010dno jed. V preteklosti si ljudje dobre hrane niso mogli privo\u0161\u010diti pogosto. V 19. stoletju je bil raz\u0161irjen rek: \u00bbLe en dan v letu dobro jemo \u2013 na veliko no\u010d zjutraj, na \u017eegnanje opoldne in na pustni torek zve\u010der.\u00ab<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4b8a284 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4b8a284\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">Poleg bo\u017ei\u010da je bila potica nepogre\u0161ljiva tudi ob veliki no\u010di, ko so jo nosili k blagoslovu skupaj s \u0161unko, hrenom in pirhi. V tem okviru je imela tudi simbolni pomen: orehova potica je pogosto predstavljala Kristusovo trnovo krono.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fddb9d3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"fddb9d3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">Pomembno mesto je imela tudi ob pustu. Na pustni torek se je marsikje pekla starej\u0161a in bolj nasitna razli\u010dica \u2013 \u0161pehovka oziroma ocvirkova potica, pripravljena z ocvirki namesto sladkega nadeva.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8c71f21 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"8c71f21\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h5 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Simbolni pomen potice<\/h5>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6b003be elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6b003be\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">Potica ni bila zgolj hrana, temve\u010d nosilka simbolnih pomenov. Njena zavita, pogosto kro\u017ena oblika je bila razumljena kot simbol celovitosti, povezanosti in neprekinjenosti. Zaradi tega je bila potica v preteklosti prisotna tudi na porokah in drugih pomembnih \u017eivljenjskih dogodkih.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2679177 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2679177\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">Sladkost in bogat nadev sta pomenila prekinitev vsakdanje skromnosti in poudarila prazni\u010dni zna\u010daj trenutka. Prav zato je potica postala simbol gostoljubja, doma\u010dnosti in praznovanja.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1b03f01 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"1b03f01\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h5 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Regionalne razli\u010dice potice<\/h5>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d48761d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d48761d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">\u010ceprav je danes najbolj znana orehova potica, so se po slovenskih pokrajinah razvile \u0161tevilne razli\u010dice. Na Notranjskem so poznali krompirjevo in ocvirkovo potico, v Prekmurju tudi makovo, drugod pehtranovo, le\u0161nikovo, ro\u017ei\u010devo ali sadno potico.
